Newsletter subscriptions
The newsletter form collects your email address and explicit consent to receive the weekly Avatar Dispatch newsletter. The form also records the consent version; the service adds the source page and submission time to process and document the request. Newsletter signup is separate from sending a message or a submission.
Contact and submissions
Contact forms collect your name, email address, subject, message, and consent to process the inquiry. Submissions collect your name, email address, title, message, an external source URL, and consent to process the submission. We use these details to review what you send and, where appropriate, reply. Please do not send passwords, private financial information, sensitive personal records, or material you do not have permission to share.
Service providers
The publisher uses Sprigpost to manage subscriptions and incoming correspondence, and Resend for email delivery. Information necessary to process your request or deliver email passes through those services. The service associates each request with this publication; signing up here does not itself give consent to another publication’s newsletter.
Your choices
You can withdraw newsletter consent using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. You can also contact the desk about unsubscribing, correcting your details, or requesting deletion. Use the email address associated with your request so it can be located.
Audience measurement
When enabled for production, the publisher’s audience measurement sends a page-view event and the page pathname to its own service. This script does not use cookies, browser storage, persistent visitor identifiers, or session replay. It respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Page views count browser events, not unique people. No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Google Fonts integrations are included.
Storage and technical information
These pages do not add advertising trackers, third-party font requests, or browser storage for search. Search filters run in your browser. Hosting and email services may process technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request and delivery logs.
Subscription and correspondence records are held for the purpose for which they were collected, subject to operational and applicable legal needs. A fixed retention period is not specified in this notice. Contact the desk for questions about your record or current handling practices.

This notice should be updated when the service’s data handling changes. The date above identifies this version.
